Best Food Runs

Get hungry for one of these unique food races

Just keep eating. Just keep eating. Just keep eating eating eating!

Some call it binge eating, others call it competitive eating. We just call it dinner.

And since we love to eat, talk about food and wash down our booze with bar snacks, we wanted to share some of the best races involving more than a weeks’ worth of calories.

Bon Appetit!

Board Walk
Can’t get enough greasy mystery tubed meat from the boardwalk? The Tulsa State Fair’s Corndog Challenge gives runners a corndog, lemonade and cotton candy to finish as they run or walk a 5k course. Pink slime is optional, but expected.
Corndog Challenge 5K Run/Walk; Tulsa, OK; Sept 22; $19; Register

Really Love Relay Races?
Say that five times fast. The DOUGHMAN is a quadrathalon that combines eating and athleticism. One part cycling, one part swimming and two parts footrace, teams of 4 are limited to just one vegetarian and vegan per team. The 2012 race is over, but look out for 2013’s!
DOUGHMAN; Durham, North Carolina
