The Tour de Fat
New Belgium Brewing puts on the ultimate bicycle festival

If you asked us to trade in a perfectly functioning automobile for a bicycle, we'd assume you were either joking or regularly huffed cat pee fumes. But if you plied us with enough beer, anything is possible!
And that's exactly what the New Belgium Brewing Company is planning with the Tour de Fat.
A fair hitting 15 cities, this fete is a celebration of all things bicycle. A free party with music, food, a parade (costumes-encouraged) and plenty of brews, the Tour has an interesting promotional twist.
At each event, they let one … lucky(?) attendee turn in the keys to their car in exchange for a $2,250 credit towards a new custom bike from a local shop.
The car gets auctioned for charity, and you get your experience in an automobile-free existence documented.
Which is an awesome deal! Provided you've bathed in a high ABV IPA this morning.
Tour de Fat; Submit a video of two-minutes or less with why you want to be car-free to enter the contest
