The Jingle Bell Run
A festive 5k that lets you run with reindeer
Holiday-themed bar crawls usually turn into a scene straight from The Nightmare Before Christmas...but with more crying, more vulgarity and fewer bobble-sized heads.
Swap alcohol for natural endorphins this year—at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis!
The race series aims to stampede over arthritis, and have a little fun while doing so!
Athletes, fun runners and walkers are encouraged to show up in full jingle jog garb—think prancing reindeer, hustling Santas or fast-footed elves—wearing bells. So you can literally "jingle all the way" to the finish line.
Tackle the 5k course by jog, jaunt or walk. Either way, it's shorter than Santa's delivery route!
Though some jogs have already reached the finish line, the majority of the 150 events have not started jingling—and prizes for best costumes are still up for grabs.
And while fighting for a good cause can be tough, it's way more fun than fighting for a cab when you're dressed as Buddy the Elf!
