Running Music App

The Faster app pushes you to run longer and faster with music

Your new audio pace car

There are tons of ways to get pumped for a workout, like watching the Call on Me music video or wearing American flag-print bicycle shorts.

But most "normals" just use music.

Turn up the lyrical intensity with Faster, a new iPhone app that messes with your tunes to keep runners and cyclists moving at a sweat-inducing speed.

Faster uses GPS technology aligning music tempo with a target distance and time. Go too slow and the music becomes a ballad, pushing you to step up your pace and get your beat back.

Go too fast, and you'll be listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks. (Just kidding — the music doesn’t actually speed up. But the app does offer voice feedback to keep you from overexerting).

Now retire those embarrassing shorts and stop watching 80's workout smut — you'll get faster without those uncomfortable stares.
