Drunk Spelling Bee
Last Exit hosts an affair to not remember

Plenty of boring activities become joyful journeys into party town with the aid of a little liquor: babysitting, lifeguarding and jury duty are great examples.
And so is a spelling bee!
So hit up the Last Exit bar in Brooklyn every third Tuesday for your shot at the Slurring Bee, the boozed-fueled version of everyone's 38th favorite spectator sport.
Put on by the folks as Projectmill, the Slur is a contest of wits, wills and bladder control with some simple rules. Hopeful participants chip in $5 to a communal pool and once they do, they're signed up!
Next step? Pound your first drink and spell your first word.
Every round you survive, you have to finish another drink.
If you're the last man (or lady speller) sorta standing, congrats — you just won half the pot and a slew of sick prizes.
A-W-E-S-U-M!
Like garlic knots and underwear, some things are better when they're fresh.
