Rumble on the River
Friday Night Fights brings Muay Thai kickboxing to the Hudson River

Friday Night Fights is one of our favorite slices of New York City brutality (next to the underground hot dog vender fight clubs…but we can't talk about that).
So we're seriously psyched about the 7th annual Rumble on the River, where Muay Thai fighters used to pummeling each other in the Hall of St. Paul leave their basement and come out in the fresh air of Pier 84.
An all-amateur fight card, Rumble on the River will have a 10-fight lineup with a rematch of last year's main event: Darryl Marrin out of Canada vs. Sean "Spitfire" Fagan from New York.
And the best part? It's all free!
Though with over 3,200 attendees at least year's event, it may be worth shelling out for the special VIP tickets that guarantee a decent view of the action.
Plus, there's awesome Chang beers, authentic fight music and hot dogs (but no underground vender brawls, sorry — we still can't tell you about those).
