Bark in the Park

The Brooklyn Cyclones invite you and your dog to the game

Treat your dog to a game!

Unless they’re served hot from a metal vat of questionable food hygiene, there’s a pretty standard No Dogs Allowed policy at most ball parks.

Not so for one magical night with the Brooklyn Cyclones. Every summer the team invites fans and their furry friends out to the ball game for Bark in the Park.

In honor of this hallowed day, the bleacher section at MCU Park in Coney Island will be renamed the “Bow-Wow Zone” (hey, being-not-really clever is our job!) and reserved for patrons equipped with a pooch in tow.

Plus, there’s a pregame doggy “wedding” (we’re not making that up), a pregame doggy parade (which you’re free to join provided you have a pup), and pet adoptions courtesy of the Sean Casey Animal Rescue.

And a portion of all tickets sales go to the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals.

Hate man’s best friend (you’re a monster)? Don’t worry — there are still plenty of dogs of the miscellaneous meat variety too.
