Boston University clashes with Cornell in this red-hot rivalry

Red Hot NCAA hockey at MSG

New York City has a shortage of high-quality college sports. But a fiery NCAA hockey rivalry is about to return.

Boston University, the powerhouse responsible for five national championships since 1971, will face off against Cornell, the Ivy League institution best known as the alma mater of our fourth-favorite character on The Office.

For the last 86 years, the two schools have regularly done battle on the ice to determine who looks better in a red jersey. But only one will come out on top at their "Red Hot Hockey" rivalry this November 26.

This will be the third MSG matchup between B.U.'s Terriers (ranked No. 10 by USCHO) and Cornell's Big Red (No. 20). The series currently sits at 1-0-1 in Boston’s favor. (And yes, B.U.’s team is really called the Terriers, which is just adorable.)

Seats can be purchased in the Boston University fan section, in the Cornell section, or away from the riff-raff entirely.

No matter where you plant your butt, show your school spirit and be sure to dress appropriately.
