The Jersey Shore hosts a mattress showdown
While the cast of Jersey Shore is "hard" at "work" filming their sixth "season" and desperately trying to extend their "fifteen minutes," here’s a chance for you and your "friends" to have some unconventional fun in Seaside "Heights".
(We're not sure how sarcastic air quotes work!)
On Friday, September 7, the municipality of Seaside Heights will host their fifth annual Boardwalk Bed Race.
Here’s how it works, if you’re looking to get a jump on the competition and start practicing:
Each five-member team (there are 20 of them) will be supplied with a "wheelie bed" (adorned with sponsor Guinness’ lettering, of course). Then, at 6pm sharp, one pajama-clad member of each team will lie down and (hopefully) be carried to victory by his or her teammates.
There's an award for the "best-dressed" team and a $1,000 cash prize for the winner. So you can get paid to do stuff in bed!
