NYDO Hits the Bull's-Eye
Shots and Sharpshooters at NYC's dart league

Mom used to say, "It's all fun and games 'til someone loses an eye." She was right.
Fortunately, the guys at the New York Dart Organization didn't listen to their mothers, and have built a big following of people who like to live dangerously.
The NYDO organizes dart leagues for people of all drinking and tossinging abilities, and hosts competitions in sports bars around the city. Their new season is about to begin, and they're offering the right league for you, whether you're a pro, weekend warrior or safety liability.
To get in on the action (starting March 14), join a league-affiliated team, or register your own 4- to 7-player squadron of needle-chuckers. Solo sharpshooters are also invited to battle it out in their singles competition.
Even if you're not up for a league – and would rather just play for kicks (or the next round of beers) — the NYDO provides a master list of dart bars in Manhattan, indexed by neighborhood.
So start brushing up on your skills, 'cause mom was right: Practice does make perfect. Meanwhile, make your friends wear goggles.
Action starts March 14-15. Teams must register by March 4; Check out the NYDO league page or e-mail them at nydo@nydo.com for more info.
